Benefit Boing!

Since purchasing Boi-ing I’ve had a bit of a love hate relationship with it. I purchased mine in 01 the lightest shade – in the pot this looked way to dark but as you start to warm it up it gets much lighter.
It works really well, covering my dark circles under my eyes beautifully, lightening the area while still looking very natural. It blends out effortlessly and is easy to apply (I use either my ring finger or a small brush). Bizarrely it seems to look better about 30mins after I’ve applied it  - maybe as it settles into the skin. I also find that it lasts really well, during the day so far I haven’t had to reapply it at all.

Unfortunately I’ve also had a few problems with it, to be fair I believe that a lot of these problems are more 'teething' problems on how best to use it on my skin rather than product faults .
I find that I have to wear eye cream under it as if my skin is a little dry it doesn't sit very well and can be a little cakey, possible someone with a more normal to oily skin wouldn’t have this problem. I also have to use it quite sparingly, to begin with I got a little carried away and put on a couple of layers, this is a massive  NO NO as it creases A LOT if you put too much on.

Happily if I wear it over eye cream and I remember to be conservative with the product (which is always good as it will last longer and luckily you don’t actually need a lot of product to get the desired effect.) then it works really well and I look like ive had a wonderful nights sleep.
All in all I am happy with this product and if I follow the above steps it looks great, so for me it’s a good purchase :)

Has anyone use Boi-ing? What do you think?

  3. I use boi-ing, and i love it! I put it on over the top of my foundation (which i put on top of primer) and then blend it in from there. Then I apply powder on top and don't find it cakey at all! My skin isn't oily either!
