Myface MyMix Foundation

For the last week I've been trying out a new foundation, which as you can probably guess is the Myface Cosmetics MyMix foundation. I've been waiting patiently to try this but had decided to be good and finish the foundation I was already using before I purchased.

 

First of all it arrived all wrapped up in bright pink tissue paper which was lovely because who doesn't like receiving pretty packages. The foundation packaging is a little less fun but perfectly serviceable and is quite sleek, I also like the slim design as it fits very well in my make-up bag. 

Obviously I chose this foundation in fair no.2, one of the main pluses of the Myface cosmetics foundations is the colour selection, they seem to have very sensible categories which I think makes it easier to colour match the product to your skin. There are three shades fair, medium and dark with three subcategories in each shade. 

I did get a little over excited when trying to get the product out of the tube as you can see on the photo, and one of the downsides of the packaging is that it does tend to over dispense. The consistency of the foundation is thin and liquidy but without being watery in any way and once it was on my skin this foundation was really nice. It sits on the skin well, doesn't highlight any dry patches and helped tone down my redness (it didn't completely cover it but did a good job). It feels light and left me with a lovely dewy finish.
The best bit by far is that its also affordable, on the Myface cosmetics website the foundation is £12.99 and you get a good 35ml of product.

P.S. Some people may have noticed that I also bought the concealer, I haven't mentioned it only because I haven't tried it yet I will update once its in use.
